An EXTRA SPECIAL DAY!

Earlier I did a posting on a new blog "The Good News Blog" which was the brainchild of sula36 and jackfrost. I mentioned that as 29th February 2008 is an "extra" day perhaps it would be a good idea if it was celebrated in a special way.

Sula36 posted this comment:

"Well we are using the day for our works trip. Instead of a Christmas meal in the busyness of December, we are instead taking a day in the mountains to ski, sledge, walk, or whatever all together. Should be good"

What an excellent idea.

So that brings me to the point - how should we celebrate 29th February here in blogland?

Yay! thank you.....I'm rubbish at coming up with ideas...all I can think is...lets all dress up in cassocks..and ...oh that probably isnt the best idea.....;) well all the MEN could!!!:>>

we could all do a special post on a specific theme. A positive theme of course. Or do like the secret santa thing, which I didn't know about until it was too late, and discover someone elses blog. It needs to be publicized by the blog uk team I think to make a success of it.

You could have a portrait in fancy dress competition. After Alladin that should be easy for you.

[ I was thinking of having a portrait competition soon to go with my new web site lochnessimages.com which is taking much longer than expected ].

You are spectacular in your Alladin costume so how can we come up with an idea to beat that ? David.
