I overheard this conversation between my grandchildren Louis(4) and Aimée(6)

L: When I grow up I’m going to marry Gabriel.
A: But you can’t marry Gabriel because you are a boy and Gabriel is a boy.
L: But Mummy says boys can marry boys. *
A: But you won’t be able to have children then.
L: But I want children.
A: Then you can’t marry Gabriel.
L: Well I’ll have to marry Jade then.
A: But you said you didn’t want to marry Jade.
L: That’s because she makes me wash my tattoos off.
A: Oh!
L: I know, I’ll marry Jade and put the tattoos on my arm under my sleeve where she can’t see them.

Sorted!!!!

If only life was that simple.

* at this point my son-in-law frowned and my daughter shrugged her shoulders!
