I'm looking after my grandchildren for a few days and last night after bathtime Aimee (who has very straight hair) wanted it braided and left in overnight.
This morning it looked like this 
She was very pleased with the effect 
I don't think I'll be braiding it again tonight! 
jen does the same thing she likes her hair slightly frizzy

It took less than I expected(about 30 mins) and was quite therapeutic
I remember my Mum putting rags in my hair when I was young. Now that's an idea
strateners for birthday or xmas then...oh have you heard from usky he has not posted for 3 days..Hmmmm!!

You didn't need much encouragement!!!
I had years of doing that in duplicate! Nowadays its straighteners as opposed to a few years ago the curling tongs - I guess the grass is always greener!!! Enjoy!

I got a friend to do it with mine once when I was a teenager. I think she went a bit OTT, because when we took them out in the morning it was completely Afro - I spent ages trying to damp it down, then wore a head scarf all day to try and keep it under control!! I remember going into town and bumping into someone we knew from school on the market - should have worn dark glasses as well!

I've started something now - it was hair braiding at bedtime again! Mind you it's a very soothing chore
Just done the school run and must now hang out the washing before going to my French class.

Just finished cleaning the kitchen, now for those minutes....
