A thought for the day
Yesterday I was reading an article by Jemima Khan where it said:
"I keep all options open, postpone the decision and let circumstances decide. And then regret it"
Sounds familiar - makes you think doesn't it?

In the article she says that she has "a chronic affliction" in her inability to make up her mind.
That's a terrible way to go through life. It's almost guaranteed to make things harder for you than they could be.
Tom.
And pretty painful too!
it does make you think I have been there and done that and it does make things harder in the long run
So true!
Hello Marian, long time since I have been commenting on my friends posts, "putting things off" gave me a slap.
Yes, I have been busy, excellent weather that we have been having coupled with a very big garden and Hazel's garden, picnic days out in the sunshine, trying to catch up on housework that gets ignored if it does not rain, trying to do all the ironing instead of just what I need for that day, trying to get the group blog moving, it's now in the featured groups so I relax and let it pick up its own new members if it will.
None of those were good enough reasons for losing touch with the good friends that I had made from my blog and that's what has happened.
Hope that you are fit and well, did dip in to your poetry blog so I know that you are doing your thing on there, keep good, trevor.
Nice to see your smiling face! ![]()

sure does. It is not just procrastination really, seems more like abdication. Drifting along at its extreme.
I don't believe that Jemima really does that in all cases though, maybe just when it doesn't seem important enough.
