Yesterday Once More.

I thought you might see a little more of my day at the seaside.

First we had to stop off at the shop to buy buckets and spades for the children and one of these for me. Well a girl has to treat herself hasn't she?

When we arrived at the beach I set up basecamp.

Whilst Aimée and Louis played chase.

Followed by cooling off in the sea and making mud sand pies.

Then it was time to build a sand castle.

Which was inspired by this:

Soon the beach got a little busier as the sun worshippers arrived.

Then it was time to bury Aimée.

Before going back home for baths and early bed.

Oh yes - normally the sunshade falls over or blows down but yesterday it stayed rock solid for the five hours we were there. It's important to have some shade especially with little ones around.

I was going to ask what it was because in England it could be regarded as a deadly weapon with current laws on carrying knives and the like. They are a set of lovely pictures which tell the story of a very happy day David.
