Last week we were sailing down the Amazon in our homemade dug-out canoe.
We were constantly on the lookout for the dangerous green alligator which is known to frequent these murky waters.
Suddenly we were startled by a ripple in the water and as we turned around we spotted a swallow as she flew away.
Isn't the imagination a wonderful thing! Oh the swallow really did swoop down for a drink whilst we fought off the green alligator!
Next week it's Africa and the Limpopo River! Will our intrepid travellers escape the jaws of the emerald crocodile?
