I ask you ……..

Whilst pottering in my garden this morning (not that sort Melinda and Murphymole!) and thinking about “The Blogship Lollipop” (as one does) my mind went back over twelve months ago. At this time I was accused of “blogging for the sake of blogging”. Obviously, this comment has stuck with me.

For those of you who don’t know the background behind “Lollipop” I’ll briefly explain.

A couple of weeks ago I came across the idea for “The Lollipop” following the tragic scuttling of the “Black Pearl”. Morale seemed at an all time low and I felt that perhaps bloggers needed a fun place to escape the doom and gloom of modern day life. A place to dream, relax and have fun with other like-minded bloggers. I hope that this has been achieved.

So why am I asking “Is the blogging for the sake of blogging?” I really don’t know. Perhaps it’s just a ghost from the past?

Ah well “Carry on Blogging”!

Blogging certainly keeps me sane, and though I've not really joined in the Lollipop yet, I enjoy those kinds of capers when I do!

Anyway, I do all kinds of things just for the sake of it...

People here make so many people feel part of a caring community - which it is. That can't be a bad thing! :no:

Tonight, on Lollipop, we're having fancy dress and bingo in King Kevin's Staterooms!!!! :crazy:

No, the community aspect here's really good. It's what's kept me blogging here. I've tried one or two others, but it's not the same.

Funny things people criticize another for...how can you blog for the sake of blogging? Blogging is writing what you want when you want...who's defining blogging for blogging sake? Don't take such criticism seriously, Marian...just put it down to somebody being in a bad mood on the day and taking it out on an easy target...can't get into the Lollipop site but that's just me...other's are thoroughly enjoying it so it's a good thing....great big hugs and loads of love...XX

Thanks Jenray - Lollipop is great fun and getting people to interact so it can't be a bad thing can it?

So many bloggers moan that nothing's going on and that it's dead but they don't do anything pro-active about it.

Put up or shut up is my motto! :yes:

Oh it's bingo and fancy dress tonight on Lollipop! :))
