I was following up on your thoughts about how the changing light can affect the mood and colour of a picture.

You are right and that's a good example.
On Saturday the light in Ullapool changed rapidly from dull to quite bright and it was necessary to capture lots of images to get one that was acceptable. Without the boat being repaired on the shingle the foreground would have been bereft of interest. The red boiler suit also helps to show work is going on to repair / repaint the boats.
